Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We have set up this page in memory of our beloved mother,Sneh Lata Malhotra who suddenly passed away sunday night on the 22/07/12. Mum had been battling with Lupus for a little over 17 years along with everything that is asociated with it.I know lot of people always have good things to say at times like these when they loose a loved one, but mum to us and everyone she knew was the kindest and warmest loving and caring person we have ever known. Mum was one of the ten siblings, born in Kenya on 14th November 1941. She grew up there, got married and had four kids. The family moved to the U.K in 1983 and for one year mum supported four children, whilst dad had to go back to Kenya.

She worked hard to support her family and even when she was not well, carried on soldiering in the shop to help dad. Even in the final days of being in the hospital, she would joke and when asked by the nurses, "How was she?", allways replying I'm okay. Finally, she was a inspiration and a true fighter. Mum all of us, including your four grand children, will miss you dearly and certaintly your cooking. You will allways be in our thoughts.

P.S - Josh (5 years old) saw a shining star in the sky and came running in to let us know he had seen Grandma
