Story
Hi all,
As you probably know i've been somehow tricked into trying to cycle the length of our fine country (and Scotland). Although this is likely to cause me, and some of those around me, permanent physical damage, there is one upside in that I can try to use my suffering to persuade you to give your hard earned money to a very deserving charity:
I have had little exposure to HFT myself however they provide invaluable support to some very close family friends of mine who are forever praising them for help they offer. Their son, Alex, who also happens to be a similar age to myself, suffers from severe learning difficulties which have meant that he has had to spend most of his life in a care home run by HFT. Their support and expertise has not only helped him enormously with his own development but also in sharing what would have otherwise been a near impossible burden for his parents John & Rowena.
I've never done anything for charity before as I've never truly believed in a cause enough to have the audacity to ask others to give their money to it. This is, however, more than worthy so do please give if you can.
And if that doesn't do it for you: just think how much pleasure you can get from the thought of me trying to walk (or do much else for that matter) after 9 days and 1000 miles in the saddle! - That's got to be worth something!
The site is very secure and proven so please don't be worried about giving out your details online, and it only takes a minute or so. If you would prefer to give offline, please feel free to give me cash or I can post you a sponsorship form.
Many thanks
Alex
