Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Ciana my three-year old niece and my brother's daughter, has recently been diagnosed with aplastic anaemia. AA is a potentially life threatening form of bone marrow failure. My brother and I are raising funds for the Aplastic Anaemia Trust and the first hurdle in our path is a half marathon.
Nike Run To The Beat will be taking place in London on 25th September. A half marathon is no easy ride, over 13 miles and least 2 hours of running. However, we have health on our side and we're prepared to work as hard as we have to in order to raise much needed funds for the AAT. If you can't afford to donate then please consider giving blood or at the very least, cheering us on at the run. We really do appreciate any help that you can give.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Every little penny helps. Perhaps you could miss out on your morning coffee one day this week and donate the money to us instead. If we got £2 from each of our Facebook friends we would smash our target. Thanks in advance for anything that you may be able to give.
