Story
Thanksgiving will be here before we know it. However, ongoing hardship will mean a lot of our neighbors will not be able to afford a meal. Many of the people who lost their jobs and livelihoods last year are still recovering. Meanwhile, the high food costs are stretching their budgets even thinner, forcing many to choose between paying the bills ... or buying food.
The St. Louis Area Foodbank partners with pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other organizations in our 600+ member network to make sure our neighbors like Rebecca have access to nutritious food this Thanksgiving.
Virtual food drives bring people together to fight hunger, no matter the circumstances. Thanks to our relationships with the food industry, we can acquire more food per dollar than the average person gets at the supermarket. With every $1 donation, you help us provide four meals to families struggling to access food. Virtual food drives help your donation go further and feed more people.
