Myself and my cousins, alongside hundreds of other people will be braving the hunger and thirst during Ramadan to walk 5km for our suffering brothers and sisters of Syria.

The ‘Walk for Syria’ has been organised in order to help our Syrian brothers and sisters affected by their war-torn homeland. With your donation and support, we can ensure thousands of people in Syria will receive the essential food, education and medical care, Insha’Allah.

The deeds of giving charity and the acts of worship are not limited to this world only, rather Allaah has prescribed means of increasing one’s good deeds after one's death, namely ongoing charity (sadaqah jaariyah), as the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous son who will pray for him.” Narrated by Muslim, 3084.
