In order to support young children across the United Kingdom we at every MPCT LCG Military academy across the United Kingdom will play our part in supporting Children in Need by taking on a Smiles and Miles Charity Challenge where we aim to complete a combined total of 10,000 miles and 1 million press-ups in a single day whilst raising funds for Children in Need.  

It will also be a competition to see which learner and which Military Academy raises the most money.

Our aim is to put our learners into a challenging environment whilst raising money to support every child in the United Kingdom so that they have the childhood they deserve – and the support they need to thrive. 

To create an event that has longevity to support learners’ awareness of their community needs.

Also, to develop social mobility through citizenship.
