Story

Thanks to everyone for their fantastic support.  We beat our fund raising target by loads which is brilliant. We managed the walk and it even didn't rain!  A really well organised event so thanks to the Alzeimer's Society and their myriad volunteers too.

Our Mum died 18 years ago now, two days after her 74th birthday. Mark's mum, and Liz's mum-in-law, Mary died just this year. And we want to help generate more progress against this terrible affliction.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
