On 21st September I will be carrying out a sponsored tandem skydive to raise money for St Margaret's Centre.

I will be jumping out of a plane at the height of 15,000 feet, weather permitting. This means a freefall of 10,000 feet before the parachute is deployed, reaching a terminal velocity of 120 mph. Yes, I'm scared!

St Margaret's Centre is an amazing charity offering activities and support to people with mental ill health in County Durham. It is a small (but perfectly formed) centre that provides arts and crafts, joinery, upholstery, gardening and social activities as well as volunteering and training opportunities, most of which are available at no cost to attendees.

As someone with personal experience of mental ill health, St Margaret's Centre is a cause very close to my heart, and I know that they deserve every penny donated to them. You can read more about what they offer at their website www.stmargaretscentre.co.uk
