On 22nd June I was diagnosed with inoperable Pancreatic Cancer. As you can imagine, myself and family are completely devastated.

In April I ran a half marathon and was running an average of 25 miles per week. Now I face the biggest challenge of my life, to fight this terrible disease.

I am surrounded by so much love and support from my family, friends who, I know, will be with me on every step of this journey.

My Running Family (Blythe Bridge Running Club) have also been extremely supportive and want to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK. I feel honoured and humbled that they want to do this for me and everyone else affected by Pancreatic Cancer.

They are holding various events such as running the Leek Half Marathon, organising a local park run , race nights and much more , all TBC

Pancreatic Cancer UK focuses on earlier diagnosis of the disease which leads to earlier treatment. They support the
families through the illness and invest in treatment and research.
