Story

Paul was born in 1982, the second son of Dick and Liz Sutton and younger brother of Matthew, who had already been diagnosed with SMA Type 2.

Paul always had a cheeky glint in his eyes, had a wicked sense of humour and could wind his Mum around his little finger.

He was often quite ill with chest infections, especially during the winter months, and would often spend time in the local hospital.

After finishing his schooling, Paul took his time in deciding to go to university, but finally went up to Coventry in September 2004.  He was doing well at Uni, making new friends and really enjoying life as best he could.

Paul was taken into hospital from Uni in early February 2005 where he sadly passed away aged 22.  He is very much missed by all his family and all who met him.

Please help us to raise funds for SMA UK, so that the charity can continue research into treatments and help and support families who live with SMA.
