Mollie Carmel Whitfield born on 9th October 2007. Such a smiley, happy, clever and beautiful baby. Mollie was diagnosed with Type 1 SMA at 6 weeks old and passed away just 19 days after she celebrated her first birthday on 28th October 2008. 

We made a promise to Mollie that we would continue to raise awareness of SMA and to support the Jennifer Trust (now Spinal Muscular Atrophy  UK) as a thank you for the incredible help and advice they provided to our family. Various fundraising events have taken place including a 17 milke bikeride, rock & roll night, school disco, abseil, 98 mile bikeride by Joan Draycott and Mollie's Uncle Brian arranges an annual darts tournament in memory of her birthday. 

Mollie is missed and loved every second of every day.
