SELEXTORHOOD AND BENE CULTURE have come together to host a live streaming event with some of the most exciting female and gender minority DJs from around the Midlands. 

We are dedicating this live stream to raise money for Refugee Council as we are so impressed with the work they have been doing  to support refugees in the wake of the Afghan crisis. 

In their own words, they describe the work that they do: 'We work directly with thousands of refugees each year. We support them from the moment they arrive in the UK. We provide crisis advice and practical support, help them to integrate into their new communities and offer mental health counselling to help them come to terms with the trauma so many of them have experienced. 

We are the only organisation providing a national service in support of refugee children and young people who arrive in the UK alone.'
