I am fundraising for the 2012 Ethiopiaid Team Challenge. I will be part of a small team of 10 from REED who will spend a week in Addis Ababa, the nation’s capital, delivering a carefully designed training programme to Ethiopiaid’s charity partners in December 2012. By giving them basic language, business skills and IT training - experience of which they have very little - they will be empowered to make a long-term and sustainable difference to the men, women and children they support every day. 

The event will also raise £10,000 which will go directly to their work.

I am not going on holiday. This is a rare opportunity to help grass roots organisations to make a real difference.

I will be fundraising for Ethiopiaid throughout 2012 and I will be taking part in triathlons, runs and swims. I will also try my hand at baking and do some regular cake sales in our offices!
