Dementia devastates lives. Every three minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia and by 2021, one million people will be living with the condition. Of the top ten causes of death, dementia is the only one that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed down.

That’s why we are proud to be in charity partnership with Alzheimer’s
Society and Alzheimer Scotland, the UK’s leading dementia support
charities.  

The charities work in four main ways to support people living with dementia;
through research, campaigning for people’s rights, raising awareness of the
disease and providing services to enable those living with dementia to live
well within their communities and remain independent for as long as
possible. 

We are supporting the charities through staff and customer fundraising
as well as raising awareness of dementia. Since December 2017, we have raised an amazing £175,000; and have over 1,000 SLG Dementia Friends. We're so grateful for any donation you can give to help us get to our target of £200,000.
