Stride for Stroke
Campaign by Stroke Association (RCN 211015)
Were asking you to Stride for Stroke, one step for each of the 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK. The 1.3 million steps challenge works out at 10,000 steps a day for 130 days. Take on the challenge today!

Story

On Saturday 10th July 2021, my mam had a mini stroke in the early hours of the morning. There was no apparent reasons for the stroke, and it is still unknown as to why she has had it. She is just 47 years old. We are hoping that she will make a full recovery, but it is still something that we will remember as a family for the rest of our lives.

I am raising money for the Stroke Association by doing 10,000 steps every day for 120 days, to help raise funds for research, as well as to support those whose lives have been affected by strokes.

There are 1.2 million stroke survivors living in the UK. With funds raised for this challenge, more research can be done and more support can be given, and hopefully we will be able to prevent as many strokes from happening in the future.
