Story
As part of the Pure Lubrication team's fundraising efforts, we are supporting The Trussell Trust, our chosen charity of the year for 2021. More and more people are being forced to use food banks because they cannot afford the basics in life. Food banks in The Trussell Trust's network provided 1.6 million three-day emergency food parcels to people in crisis, with over 500,000 of these going to children.
Callum and I will be doing our best to raise some vital funds for The Trussell Trust by embarking on climbing the 11 Munro's on the Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye from the 6-9th July 2021. The Black Cuillins is said to be the most technically challenging high mountain ridge in the British Isles. The highlight of this challenge is the narrow blade of rock that forms the summit of Sgurr Dearg also known as the Inaccessible Pinnacle which we will tackle on day 2. Over 4 days, we will summit the 11 Munros which have a combined height of 10,503 metres or 34,459 feet. (Mount Everest is 8,849 metres or 29,032 feet).
Like a lot of people, fitness levels have suffered during lockdown but we do love a challenge. Please support us if you can and whilst we're aware that people get asked for donations from many places, any little amount will help.
Thank you.
