Event: London Marathon 2022, on 2 October 2022
Kidney Care UK's #KidneyWarriors are taking on the 2022 London Marathon to help ensure no one faces kidney disease alone.

Story

A bucket list goal since my first 10k in 2014 with my dad, I now find myself weeks away from the London Marathon. I started training two months ago and I've clocked over 200 miles so far! At times, it feels inspiring and gravity-defining, and at others, extremely painful and dull. But with 3 half marathons in the bag, I know it's time for the next challenge.

Kidney Care UK is important to me because 8 years ago I flew to New Zealand to donate my kidney to my cousin Sam who had total kidney failure. The procedure was a success and Sam lives on healthily and happily. To this day, it's the single most impactful and proud experience of my life. I'm not only running for sick patients, but I'm running because I can (even with one less organ!)

If you feel like helping me reach the finish line, please donate and support this wonderful organization.
