Story
You have all no doubt heard me talk about Beat a thousand times over but if you are still unsure what they do as a charity, and where your money is going, then take a look at the website: https://www.beateatingdisorders.org.uk/
For my birthday this year I will be completing a Skydive with the hope that I can raise £500 for Beat to help them provide continued support for those that suffer with an Eating Disorder as well as the careers, family and friends that witness the battle everyday!
I have a HUMONGOUS fear of heights and I’m sure this still doesn’t come close to the anxiety and fear the fuels an Eating Disorder, but if I can do this then maybe I can provide hope to those that do suffer.
I have watched my Sister battle her Eating Disorder for over 10 years now, as a family member you feel completely lost as how to help, and you will always want to take it away and make things better, you can’t, but Beat can provide support for you all and create a light at the end of the very long dark tunnel.
I know of too many people that have died as a result of their Eating Disorders and the various physical and mental issues that are tied to this, my Sister very nearly being one of them, so if you are still reading (thank you) and feel like you can help in any way big or small (even 50p will make me happy) then go ahead and drop me a little donation and help me celebrate my birthday!
