Unfortunately, 1 in 3 people suffer from cancer, meaning that most people are affected by cancer in some way. Personally, I have lost both an Aunt and a very close family friend to cancer, and my Grandmother has been diagnosed with cancer twice; fortunately, however, she was lucky enough to survive both of her battles and is still here today. Both my Mother and Grandmother have told me about the good work Macmillan do, and how helpful their support is during times of need, which is why I have chosen to raise money for Macmillan.
