Amber Oates is raising money for The Laughter Specialists Charitable Trust
Story
We hope that you and your families are are doing well. As you know, very sadly our usual summer charity fun day extravaganza cannot take place this Sunday 17th May. However we would dearly love for the school community to come together in spirit, if not in person, and for everyone mark the day in their own way.
If you would like to join in, set yourself or your family a fun energetic challenge be it a run, bounce, hop, skip, cycle, balance, dance, climb or anything else that may appeal. Anything goes.
Go the extra mile and add (or indeed substitute with) lashings of fancy dress (dig out the school uniform perhaps?!), face paint, welly wanging, obstacle courses, penalty shoot outs and of course cake, ice cream and Pimms.
The Parents' Association charity for this year, The Laughter Specialists, are continuing to do what they can during this challenging period, offering a virtual service to patients where appropriate and they are looking forward to normal service being resumed as soon as possible. Any donation big or small makes a huge difference and will be greatly appreciated.
We are sorry to miss out on the usual excitement of the big day, but we hope that we can encourage you to celebrate in your own way and we look forward to being back another time !
