Gateshead Unit Fundraising Dares · 30 April 2020

During the COVID-19 outbreak, St John is actively supporting ambulance services, hospitals and communities to protect life and health through this worrying and uncertain period.

Story

You will usually see Gateshead Unit out and about providing First Aid cover throughout the North East. However, during the current pandemic, those of us who are able to are supporting the NHS, including on ambulance crews, logistics support and in wards within hospitals.

St John Ambulance is currently dedicating all of its time and energy to NHS support. While we usually generate income from events and training, this isn't possible right now. As such, we are fundraising as a unit to keep this wonderful charity going during these difficult times.

To raise funds, our brave volunteers will complete a challenge every time a target is hit. They will also post videos of these dares on their YouTube channel for you to enjoy!
