Story
St John Ambulance is forming a part of the nation’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak. They are providing extra ambulances to most NHS ambulance trusts, providing additional personnel to the NHS Nightingale Hospital, helping with transport of people to and from hospital and numerous other activities.
As a volunteer of St John Ambulance myself, I will be working at the NHS Nightingale Hospital.
Volunteers undertaking these vital roles do not receive a salary. It is not a government agency. The charity itself normally relies on income from first aid courses and other income streams that are now not secure, so there has never been a better time to support this great charity, its volunteers and its work.
Every penny will go directly from this site to the charity and contribute towards St John Ambulance’s response.
