Story
We’re taking steps this Christmas to help St Mungo’s
Every Christmas we think about how all of us at Six can use our skills to help others. This year we’re focusing on St Mungo’s, a charity and housing association committed to ending homelessness and rebuilding lives.
They have a vision where everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions. St Mungo’s works towards this by:
- Providing support directly to people, either
to prevent them from becoming homeless, or to respond to it and help them recover; - Building relationships with communities and
the wider public, aiming to increase understanding of homelessness and empathy
towards the people who experience it; - Advocating for policy change by combining the experience St Mungo's has of what works, with the voices of the people the charity works with.
Our Christmas Steps Challenge
On Wednesday 12th December we’ll be taking on our Christmas Steps Challenge, running up and down this famous Bristol landmark for six hours to raise money for St Mungo’s. Between 7.45am and 1.45pm, teams from Six will be sprinting/running/walking up and down
these famous festive steps to raise money and awareness of St Mungo’s.
Thank you so much for donating today, and helping St Mungo’s get people back on their own two feet.
