I’m running the Leeds Abbey Dash on my birthday this year to raise money for Age UK and contribute to the vital work they do to support older people. Did you know, over 1 million older people in the UK are chronically lonely and at this very moment there are over 37,000 older people living in Leeds feeling socially isolated or lonely? That’s not good enough.

I’ve done a lot of running this year but this is the only time I have asked for sponsorship, to egg me on to a fast time, maybe even a 10k personal record looking to raise some cash for a good cause.
