Story
In September 2021, my partner Eleanor and I embarked on the most immense journey of our lives by walking from Sittingbourne in Kent, over 330 miles, to the summit of Snowdon in North Wales. We raised £2000 collectively for the Alzheimer's Society, Macmillan Cancer and WWF.
This time I wanted to take it a step further and raise more for a cause close to my heart, the WWF. For this adventure, I will leave my house in Sittingbourne, trek to Snowdon, but then continue to Scafell Pike in the Lake District, and then finish at Ben Nevis in Scotland. That's the highest peaks in Wales, England and Britain in one trek. Help me hit my target of £10000 by sharing, liking and donating.
For someone who 15 years ago was overweight. With type 2 diabetes at 27. Then early thirties developing sepsis three times in six weeks from a kidney stone, this is considerable challenge and a story that anyone can change their lives. And fulfil significant achievements.
WWF is at the heart of global efforts to address the world's most important environmental challenges: safeguarding the natural world, tackling climate change and enabling people to use only their fair share of natural resources. Together we can build a future where people and nature thrive. Your support is much appreciated. Find out more by visiting wwf.org.uk.
