We have decided to take part in fundraising for Islamic Help’s Winter Blanket Appeal!   

This winter will be one of the harshest winters many families have faced in decades, and it's not just because the temperature is dropping.   

Families around the world, especially those who are living in refugee camps and extreme poverty will struggle to protect themselves during these cold days and nights as the cost of living becomes more and more expensive. Around the world the basic cost of supplies has gone up, which means more and more people are now finding it difficult to pay for the essentials. 

The cost of food, firewood and gas has increased around the globe, these are essential supplies to keep families warm in the winter. As many communities around the world prepare for the freezing temperatures to kick in, we can assist them by providing good quality blankets, to help keep them warm and be the first line of defence against the bitter cold.    

Each blanket is only £20 and will provide families with an additional layer of warmth this winter.   

• £20 - 1 Blanket  
• £60 - 3 Blankets  
• £100 - 5 Blankets  
• £200 - 10 Blankets  
• £1,000 - 50 Blankets  
• £2,000 - 100 Blankets   

 The locations of distribution are as follows:    

• Afghanistan   
• Bangladesh  
• Pakistan  
• Yemen   
• Syrian & Palestinian Refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, and Turkey.  

Our priority is to ensure the families that we support receive exactly what they need. Any donations that you give via this page will go towards Islamic Help's Winter Appeal only. The funds will be used to purchase and provide families with blankets, however if our field teams assessment determines that a family or individual is in need of another item such as clothing or food to help them during the winter months, your donation may be used to provide this item instead.
