The OSS Management Team set-off before the crack of dawn on Saturday 23rd October to attempt the Lakes 10 Peaks challenge. Unfortunately several hours in and despite the teams gallant efforts, a decision was made to abort the challenge on the grounds of safety due to adverse weather conditions which reduced visibility considerably. Naturally the team were extremely disappointed, however have committed to return during spring 2011 to attempt the challenge again. Nonetheless the team have managed to raise over £3,000 so far and would like to thank all those who have donated. All donations will most certainly be appreciated by our corporate charity, MacMillan Cancer Support and benefit the lives of people affected by cancer.
