This is a team Capital One office to office cycling challenge. The route takes us through glorious countryside from Nottingham to London, and contrary to popular belief, and despite what it looks like on the map, it isn't all downhill !! There are plenty of hills to keep us entertained.
The challenge is split over 2 days, the first day is roughly 85 miles and the 2nd day 65 miles, so about 150 miles in total. So this is going to be a real challenge, especially since my time spent in the saddle has pretty much been non existent since Covid hit!
I am aiming to raise £750 (with a team target of 15k) so anything you can give will be greatly appreciated!
About the cause:
Mental illness touches many lives. A study by the National Centre of Social Research found that 26% of adults in England (1 in 4) have been diagnosed with mental illness at some stage in their lives. A further 18% of adults reported having experienced a mental illness but not having been diagnosed.
The more we can do to recognise mental illness, reduce stigma and encourage conversation about mental health the better.
Rethink Mental Illness works to improve the health of our nation through challenging attitudes and changing lives, supporting people across the country to get through crisis, live independently, and realise they are not alone.

Please help us smash our target for a brilliant charity!
Thanks, Si.
