Organic Savanna is partnering with Kidspire and Karibu Centre to fundraise for a new school in rural Northern Kenya. We're raising funds to support the education of children from the nomadic Pokot, Samburu and Turkana tribes.
Since Karibu Centre's inception 10 years ago, there has been an incredible positive impact for underserved young learners. Karibu students with access to computers and student-focused curriculum have outperformed their peers by two grade levels and achieved 100% acceptance rates into government schools. Now Karibu Centre is bringing its proven educational model to a new community in need and I am running to empower children from these indigenous nomadic tribes.
Money raised will be used for the most critical educational resources and infrastructure to serve the community. This includes a solar system, satellite internet installation, a social workers vehicle and educational supplies to enable us to open a pre-school and community center.
