Story

On April 2nd 2023, I'll be running my first (and maybe last) half marathon alongside eight fabulous team mates. We'll be running 13.1 miles through the streets of London in aid of Marie Curie. All the money that is raised helps Marie Curie Nurses provide vital care and support to people with terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.

£20 pays for one hour of vital nursing care at home for someone living with a terminal illness.

£57 pays for an hour of clinical support from an expert nurse via our Support Line.

£180 pays for a whole night of care from a Marie Curie Nurse.

We’ll be doing lots of fundraising things over the next few months so apologies if you’ve been plagued by us - it means a) we really like you or b) we think you’re really generous .

The money raised all goes to Marie Curie, we guarantee none of it goes to our flights / accommodation or anything else involved in the race or the post race fun ( believe us you couldn’t pay our Prosecco bill!) We just want you to put a value on the effort it’ll take us to get across the 13 odd mile finishing line and help us reach our target.

We’ve set ourselves a target of £350 each which is £3150 total, so anything you can donate between now and 2nd April is so appreciated.
