We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Help to beat cancer.

Thank you for visiting my Shine fundraising page in support of Cancer Research UK. Please dig deep and sponsor me – it’s quick, easy and totally secure.

Cancer Research UK is funded entirely by amazing supporters like you.  By sponsoring me you can help more people survive cancer.

Myself and Norma are walking a full marathon in September and we are hoping that our hard work will be rewarded with some help to save lives!

I have my own personal reasons for supporting this amazing charity.  I have experienced family, friends and acquaintences both winning and losing their battles with this terrible disease and witnessed unparalleled bravery in their fight.  They wouldn't have stood a chance without the help that cancer research provided.  I cannot think of a more worthy charity to raise money for and I am certain most of you will have similar stories and a mutual appreciation for the work of Cancer Research UK. So please, sponsor me.  No matter how small a donation, every penny counts!!

Gift Aid it!

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no cost to you.

Thanks so much for all the support from you lovely people.

Together we will beat cancer.
