Normally, people ask for sponsorship prior to embarking on their chosen challenge, however,  I recently broke my arm, and wasn't sure it would mend in time for the race! Because of this, I held off training and asking for money, just in case I decided not to enter.

Thankfully, the arm improved, and I dragged myself round the marathon in sub five.
