Story
Thank you in advance for reading my story.
As a result of Covid and my love of running, it turns out three of my half marathons got deferred to October. I would have had one weekend in between free, but that then became the weekend I had to move house! It was also the Beachy Head half marathon, one I was told I had to do….so I signed up! I never thought I would manage all four and my house move, but I’ve only got one more to do and I’m so astonished that I’m asking for your support to get me through number four……it’s Goodward trail half on the South Downs and it will be another hilly one, but it’s all for an amazing cause…..,
In the last few years bowel cancer has touched some very dear friends and continues to be on its rampage. In 2020 we lost Sarah Thompson to bowel cancer. Sarah left a lot of happy memories and a beautiful family, who feel her loss everyday. And more recently Mike Woodhouse has been doing an inspiring job of fighting his diagnosis and making the most of life. But bowel cancer takes too many loved ones every year and this great charity supports those diagnosed and it also working hard to find a cure.
Please support in anyway you feel able. Thank you!
