Virgin London Marathon 2013 · 21 April 2013 ·
In March 2010 my bother-in-law, Dominic, died at the age of 43, just a few weeks after his diagnosis of lung cancer. Macmillan provided invaluable support for both Dominic and his family throughout those dark days of his illness, from the moment of diagnosis, during treatment and indeed after his death.
I'm running the 2013 London Marathon to help raise funds for Macmillan and the work they do for all cancer sufferers and their families. I am asking for your help to do this in the firm belief that should you or any of your family ever suffer the devastation of this disease in any of its forms, you will then also discover the remarkable work they do.
For Dominic and also in memory of Steve Keen, Sam Glynn-Jones, Anna Gregory and Michael Lyons.
THANK YOU!
