We support disadvantaged 11-30 year olds to get their lives on track.

Story

On 13th September, I'll be attempting to cycle 45 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle.  Now I am no cyclist and have only recently got a bike more roadworthy than my rusty old runaround, so this will be quite a challenge for me.  However, fear not - some gruelling spinning classes, a cycling trip along the Loire Valley (which admittedly *may* be more Tour de Vineyard than Tour de France) and some padded pants later... I'm nearly ready!

I'll be peddling my little heart out to try to raise as much as I can for the Prince's Trust.  It's a really worthy cause; they do some fantastic work with disadvantaged young people across the UK, helping them to get their lives back on track, through education, employment or just confidence-building.  Through my work, I've been lucky enough to hear the personal stories of a number of those people and can testify that it really does change lives.

So all I need is your help. Anything you can give, however big or small, will be very much appreciated.  I will certainly try my hardest to produce a Wiggins-worthy performance for the kids.  Or at least to finish the course.

Thank you!

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.
