As many of you will know I'm doing the great north run in honor of my brave little lady, who I sadly woke up one morning to find that she'd passed away at home in my arms eight days before her first birthday! She'd battled her whole life with a rare bowel condition,  Hirshsprungs disease. In her little life she spent many many weeks in hospital and had many trips to theater. On one occassion an unsuccessful operation left Niamh in intensive care. This is where I first heard about the sick childrens trust. The RVI Newcastle are lucky enough to have one of the seven houses they run, which provide free accommodation for families who need a place to stay while family members are in hospital                       The sick childrens trust have seven houses across the country which are all charity and donation funded. Crawford house supply a home from home house with twenty bedrooms, communal kitchen, dinning room, living room to provide comfort and peace of mind when you need it the most! Without them I would have had to leave my seriously ill little girl in hospital, not being nearby incase anything happend. Please give what you can big or small to help them continue to help many families who need a facility like this!
