As some of you are aware our dear, beautiful friend Maria was diagnosed with Advanced Bowel Cancer around two years ago and has been battling this awful disease since.  Although she has been through major surgery and various bouts of Chemo, sadly Maria is losing her brave battle.

Anyone who knows our feisty, strong, independent friend will know that she will have given it her best shot, all guns blazing...and she has.... yet the Cancer has taken hold.  She has been through so much, constantly aided by the support of her loving husband and soul mate; Nick.  Whilst admiring them both as they have been on this journey and supporting only from the side lines we, as a group, to gain some positivity from this terrible situation have decided to take on the above challenge for two bowel cancer charities. They are Bowel Cancer UK and Beating Bowel Cancer for our Maria and other sufferers.

By raising money for these two wonderful charities we hope that the donations will go towards more research and new drugs together in the hope that awareness of detecting the early signs and symptoms of bowel cancer can, god willing, be cured.

Reality is that all of us have been touched by Cancer in some way, either by ourselves, a relative or a loved one.  Together we can make a difference.....you know what you've got to do!
