Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving Singleminded pages for the Cardiff and Vale NHS trust. We're contributing toward their superb work at the Breast Cancer centre and hope to support them both financially and by spreading the word about their wonderfully supportive work.

At some point, we've all been affected by cancer. It's taken a loved one. Or A friend. A relative. A co-worker. A team-mate. A neighbour. It's the disease of our age.

The Singleminded initiative is about raising money for a changing choice of cancer charities. So far we've supported Velindre hospital, The Royal Marsden hospital (London), Cancer Research Wales, Target Ovarian Cancer and the Kirklees hospice. All are involved in the fight against cancer; either in treatment, care, research or all three. The charities were chosen after direct experience of their incredible work. It's a tagline we've all heard, but we feel it's true; by lending your support we'll beat this bloody disease.

Singleminded is a group of cyclists and runners enduring long and tough events, sometimes on single speed bikes (it's how we got our name). Yep it's uncomfortable, but nowhere near as much as cancer. Please help us to help others. One cause, many people. Thanks for listening.
