40 fantastic businesses pledge to raise £1,000 each to help enable Hospiscare to continue providing expert end-of-life and palliative care across Exeter, Mid and East Devon.

Story

In 2022, Hospiscare will be celebrating its 40th birthday. Theyre a vital part of the local healthcare system, caring for over 2,000 terminally ill patients and their families each year across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. In order to keep their services going, Hospiscare has to raise over £8 million a year and in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, they need our support more than ever.

That's why Sounds Choir have joined the 40 Club and pledged to raise at least £1,000 for Hospiscare over the course of 2022.

To help raise funds for this amazing charity and as project lead for the Hospiscare 40 club, I didn't think it was right to encourage everyone else to do a Sky Dive and not do it myself. I also want to do it in memory of my Dad and with the help of Sky Dive Buzz want to do something a little special for him.

No family should not have access to the wonderful services that Hospiscare provides, and as we are only funded 18% by the NHS every single pound matters. Please help me to give families in Devon the same compassionate care that my Dad and us as a family received.
