Story
We all know someone who has suffered or is going through the pain of cancer. It causes so much heartbreak to young and old, their families and friends who watch them fight this and are all too often left behind heartbroken .
Cancer is the most common cause of death in Ireland with more than 9,000 people in Ireland dying each year. That's almost 25 people dying from cancer every day across Ireland. An average of 1 person every hour. The Irish Cancer Society are working towards a future where nobody dies from cancer, and everyone affected by the disease will have access to world class treatment and support. On October 30 I will be running the Dublin City Marathon and as part of that, I am raising money to help support cancer patients and their families. Your support will help make a difference.
