As some of you may know, I am not the biggest fan of running. However, as I’m writing this it is Boxing Day 2018. This is the first Christmas without receiving a call from my Grandad wishing us all a Merry Christmas, and I feel sad that I wasn’t able to get him anything. So, instead, I’ve signed up for the Great South Run 2019 as a nod to him, so that he continues to be remembered. Although I couldn’t have gotten him anything specifically, I want to continue his love for the Marines and this amazing cause. I’m scared, but I know he will guide me through it. I love you Duck, this one’s for you.
