We are the Umbel Restaurant Group, led by chef and restauranteur Simon Rogan. Like so many others in our industry, we find ourselves with a lot of spare time on our hands, so we thought we would put it to good use.

The COVID19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on the entire hospitality industry. Businesses have closed, and many will never open their doors again. Many people employed in the industry have lost jobs and are struggling to pay rent, feed their families, supply technology for children's online learning; the list goes on.

We want to do our bit during these trying times, so our teams throughout the UK will be running four miles, every four hours in 48 hours to raise money for Hospitality Action. A charity which supports workers in the hospitality industry who face all kinds of challenges, including physical illnesses, mental health issues, addiction or financial troubles. 

We will start running at 8:00 am on March 12th and finish on March 14th.

We would be so grateful for any donations, no matter how big or small in support of Hospitality Action. Please give anything you can to help raise funds for this amazing charity and the vital work they undertake in supporting those in real need.
