Story
On Friday 23rd June 2023 I will be stepping into the ring to take part in a white-collar fight at the Troxy. https://www.whitecollarboxinglondon.com/next-show/
I've been in training 4/5 days a week for the last month and bar a short trip to Verbier, its been going well. I've lost 1/2 stone to date and am on track to be at my target weight of 16st come Fight Night.
I don't know who my opponent will be as yet but he will be in the Heavy Weigh Division so it promises to be a big affair...
This has been on my bucket list for some time and turning 45 this year has given me the push I needed to get on and sign up.
As well as crossing this off my bucket list and I am also looking to raise as much money as I can for KFH's charity - London Youth.
My target is £3,000+ which will mean so much to so many children.
I need to choose a Boxing Name and a Walk on Song so please add any suggestions along with your donation and I will pick the best, or the worst depending on the humour ….
London Youth is a charity on a mission to improve the lives of young people in the capital, challenging them to become the best they can. London hosts the worst child poverty rate in the UK. Young people need opportunities outside school to have fun with their friends, to learn new skills, to make a positive change in their communities and to shape the city they live in. But, youth clubs are underfunded and struggling, and young people are facing more challenges than ever before, post-pandemic. London Youth supports 600 youth organisations across London and provides incredible opportunities for young people in sports, arts, mental health, social action, employability, outdoor learning and more! Every penny you donate will go towards helping young Londoners overcome the challenges they face and preparing them for bigger, brighter futures.
