I will be running my first Great South Run (http://www.greatrun.org/great-south-run) on Sunday 23^rd October and in doing so, will be trying to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.

For those who are not aware, Macmillan are a charity
providing support for those affected by cancer.  My reason for supporting them is that a year ago, my Mum was diagnosed with cancer and before, during and after her (thankfully) successful treatment, the team from Macmillan provided her & my Dad with support the family couldn’t provide, from information about the disease itself to practical support about the recovery phase.  For information on Macmillan and the amazing job they do, please have a look here http://www.macmillan.org.uk/
