Story

Jailed & Bailed
My three predecessors, as Master of the Worshipful Company of Security Professionals, have each been jailed and successfully bailed and I am delighted to carry on this tradition. The annual Red Cross Jailed & Bailed event will be hosted by the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress, Alderman and Mrs. Ian Luder, on Monday 8th June.

Following my arrest at Mansion House, on charges yet to be concocted (sorry, confirmed!) the City of London Police will take me to the Tower of London where I will be incarcerated pending bail!  On condition that I raise £1000 in bail in support of the British Red Cross by 2pm that day I will be a free man again!  I have been assured that I will be made 'as comfortable as possible'  at the Tower if all else fails and I don't reach bail, please help me by contributing towards my bail now!

Whilst I may jest at the fun of the day it is worth remembering that the British Red Cross work throughout the UK and abroad, caring for people in their own homes and in their communities, in peace and in war. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The British Red Cross Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So thank you for taking the time to read about my plight and please sponsor me now!
