Story
On 28 October 2012 I will be participating in Run to the Beat, the London half marathon. I will be hauling my 12st frame 13.1 miles around Greenwich to raise money for the great NSPCC and ChildLine.
Perhaps you feel the charity gets a lot of attention already, but thousands of children in the UK face neglect every day. In its 125-year history, NSPCC has helped 10 million children. Every child in the UK deserves a safe and supportive childhood. Full stop.
I intend to raise £500, which I hope will be vital to NSPCC. That's where you can help...
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So, please be generous and donate now. Thank you!
Also, to the sadists among you, I invite you to come along and watch me suffer on the day. Whether you decide to support or heckle me, your attendance will be much appreciated!
