Many of you will know that I have 3 wonderful sons, some of you will know that one of them has Epilepsy. In 2016, not long after he was diagnosed, I got back on my bike to raise money for Epilepsy Action and with fantastic support from my family and friends I raised more than £1,000. Over the last two year's we have seen my son’s condition evolve and come to really appreciate the work the charity does. It is time to do more and I need to ask you all to support me again.
[50_5zero] #RideLondon 100 on the 29th July 2018
50_ My target. Raise 50% more than last time for Epilepsy Action, a charity that supports many people with the condition, by riding100 miles in my milestone 50th year.
5zero_ The challenge. If all my wonderful friends and connections donate 5.0€, £5.0 or $5.0, I will smash that target! To inspire you all to do that, I want to ride the London Surrey 100 in less than 5.0 hours, knocking 20 mins off my previous time.
Please donate 5zero here (larger amounts will also be gratefully received). Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
We all need to understand more about Epilepsy and support those people that have the condition.
