Story

On Sunday the 10th of July Aidan will be doing the 60 mile Manchester to Blackpool bike ride along with hundreds of others.

The chosen charity is the Wigan and Leigh Hospice which aims to improve the quality of life of local people living with life-threatening illnesses, whilst supporting their families and carers. The Hospice is an independent charity with care being provided free of charge to over 500 local people each year.

We provide specialist end-of-life care, and a wide range of support services, to over 1,200 people who are living with a life-limiting illness in the Wigan Borough. Many patients are cared for in their own homes, although we also care for people living in care homes and in our In-Patient Unit.
