Story

On May 11th I'm cycling from London to Amsterdam - four countries, over 500 km, in just three days (more than I rode before diagnosis). Castel have kindly agreed to raise sponsorship on the ride for Cure Parkinson's, for me.  The London market has supported us with over £200k of sponsorship.  This is the personal page ...

Why am I doing this - candidly!
-PD
is the fastest growing neurological condition globally.

-It's for you and your families, not for me - I already have PD! (Believe me, you don't want it.)  Cause unknown - only 5% is genetic.

-Slowing PD is achievable - my two year stage 3 trial is achieving it. We now have the best shot the world has at delivering a cure

-This is the one massive fundraising I will do, I promise.  And I'm probably close to peak acquaintance of wealthy friends like you!  [It's not too late to provide corporate sponsorship if that is an option - let me know.]

-It really is a great charity - innovative, incredibly influential. And  health charities are essential for identifying new opportunities that Big Pharma's commercial focus overlooks.

-It's a genuine endurance challenge, even more so with PD.

We will make a difference.
