Story
I am running my first ever Half Marathon in fact my first ever organised race since the Copmanthorpe Village 2 mile Fun Run when i was 12 years old. This is to raise money for the disability programmes at the Leeds United Foundation.
The programme has children, young people and adults attending football sessions weekly, the participant have a mixture of physical disabilities, physical impairments and neurodiversity conditions which can give them challenges throughout they day to day lives. Any money we can raise will help support the work that goes into making Football a game that can be loved and played by ALL in Leeds.
The Leeds united Foundation uses the power of sport to educate, inspire, motivate and support children, young people and adults in the local Leeds community. They deliver over 500,000 hours of educational, health & wellbeing and participation programmes.Last year alone, they supported nearly 43,000 people across the Leeds community.Without the support of partners, donors and fundraisers, the Foundation would not be able to provide community programmes that make a huge difference to so many people throughout Leeds. We will make a difference. We will march together. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
